Biology Lecturer

Hi! My name is Sinem.

I hold a Bachelor's (Hons) degree in Biology and have pursued further qualifications, including a Teaching Certificate and a Master's degree specialising in Measurement and Evaluation in Education and Psychology.

Building on my passion for education, I have gained extensive experience in teaching and mentoring students. I began my teaching career in 2015, initially working with the national (Turkiye) programme and later transitioning to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Afterwards, I relocated to the United Kingdom, where I continued teaching Biology to Pre-access, Access, T levels, BTEC, and GCSE students.

Alongside my teaching responsibilities, I have actively engaged in the creation of educational resources. I am the author of practice workbooks for 9th and 10th-grade students, published by Palme Publishing. Furthermore, I actively contribute to the development of comprehensive and engaging educational resources in both print and online formats as a Principal Examiner. These materials are meticulously designed to assess and challenge students during their exam preparations, ensuring a well-rounded learning experience.

Moreover, I have had the privilege of being sought after by companies looking to optimise their educational strategies, benefiting from my extensive expertise in the field. Additionally, I offer specialised academic consultancy services, with a specific focus on the development of VR laboratory experiment content.

I am deeply committed to empowering students to reach their full potential and assisting organisations in optimising their educational approaches.
